Civil Answer - $399*

A Civil Answer must be filed when you have been served with a summons and complaint in a civil matter. The summons will set out a time limit (typically 30 days) in which you have to file an answer. If you do not file an answer or other responsive pleading, the court may enter a judgment against you.

When preparing a civil answer, you must read the complaint you were served with completely and determine whether the allegations against you are true, incorrect, or if you do not have sufficient information to properly respond to the allegation. Civil Answers, like all other legal documents must be prepare in a particular format for the court, filed with the court and served upon the party who is suing you.
